Reportage ProjectionsReportage is about current affairs, social issues and personal documentaries.Reportage will showcase in Sydney, November 2010. We anticipate touring Reportage to other cities following Sydney. Reportage 2010 will award a number of new prizes including: Reportage Photographer of the Year, Reportage Student Photographer of the Year and our inaugural Editors’ & Publishers’ Prize. Terms and Conditions of Entry1. Photographers of all nationalities may enter.2. Work will be accepted in two categories – Professional & Student. 3. Photo essays on a single topic is the accepted format. A maximum of 80 images may be submitted. 4. Photo essays selected for projection will be shown at the evening soirees of Reportage 2010. 5. A musical score will be composed specifically for Reportage Projections. 6. The topic must have been worked on and completed in the past 18 months. 7. The photographer must be the author of the photographic material submitted in his or her name and must be the copyright holder of the material submitted. 8. The photographer guarantees that to the best of his/her knowledge no third party can claim rights or raise objections to the publication/reproduction/distribution of the material submitted. 9. By entering into Reportage, the photographer consents to having their images reproduced in all press and promotional purposes of Reportage. 10. The photographer grants Reportage permission to reproduce their images in the catalogue, DVD, on the website and its online archive of previous festivals without any remuneration being due. 11. An entry fee of $25 AUD will need to accompany each submission to cover administration and can be paid online via PayPal. The entry fee is non-refundable. Please retain your payment receipt as this will be your tax invoice. 12. The deadline in June 30, 2010 and the judging panel will be announced at this time also. 13. Only successful applicants will be contacted are eligible to attend all elements of the festival free of charge. 14. A complete submission will include: images + caption sheet + entry form + entry fee. File Submission Details1. Photographs must be individual jpegs or multimedia presentations. No TIFF files or Raw files.2. Slideshows are not accepted. 3. Images must have no borders. 4. Images will need to be uploaded electronically to the Reportage website. FTP details for uploading will be given out in April 2010. 5. Images must be 300dpi at 1500 pixels on the smallest size of the image. Image quality should be saved as HIGH. Use RGB colour profile, not CMYK or greyscale. 6. Label/name images with your name then the number of the image. Eg. robert_capa_01. Number the images in the order you wish them to be projected. 7. Please ensure each image has a caption. Images which are published in relation to print and online publicity of Reportage are always required to supply a caption. A caption sheet must accompany your entry. 8. Images cannot be submitted via email. 9. The final selection and edit of images will be at the discretion of the selection panel.
