- Work by professional photographers and students of photography will be accepted only
- Photographers of all nationalities may enter
- A limit of two photo essays per photographer can be submitted
- A maximum of 40 images per essay
- An essay must have been worked on within the past 12 months
- Both colour and black & white images are accepted
- Images must be submitted on DVD
File Submission Details- Submit work as individual jpegs not as a slide show
- Label disc clearly with your name and project name
- Image resolution should be 72 dpi or higher. Save image quality as "High"
- The uncompressed file size of each should be between 4 and 10 Mb
- Use an embedded RGB colour profile. Do not use CMYK or greyscale
- Save your images with surname and then numerically, eg smith01, smith02, etc
- All submissions need to be accompanied with the supplied entry form completed and a seperate caption sheet. Both of these to be saved on the DVD. Please also make ordinary printer copies of each image in your photo essay and include with submission (no photographic prints or transparencies)
- Images cannot be submitted via email
- Photographers will be notified with regards to the status of their entry
- Submissions cannot be returned unless a correctly stamped self addressed envelope is supplied. If not, they will be recycled
- The final edit of images will be at the discretion of the selection panel
- Reportage may publish the names of participants on it's media releases and on the Reportage website. Any images used in relation to press and publicity of the festival will be sought with the permission of the photographer.
